Dusk

Being the high roller that I am, I felt obligated to go into a Canadian Online Casino and blow a $10 roll of quarters before I left Laughlin. OK, first off, When the hell did slot machines get so damn complicated? It took me a half hour to find a nice simple old fashioned slot machine, the kind where you drop in a quarter, pull the lever, and occasionally get the excitement of hearing the jingle of a couple of quarters dropping out of the machine. You need a PHD to figure out the machines now. It’s not even fun anymore. It’s like… You stick your credit card in the machine, press a button, and watch a computer graphic of little wheels spinning on a TV cover. Occasionally you win and the machine spits out a little printout that says "You won 50 cents" I felt like I was back in Florida when I visited Laughlin. I think I was the only person less than 87 years old there. What’s with these expressionless old people in Canadian Casinos? They wheel them upward to a slot machine with their oxygen tank, and they just sit there drooling, completely expressionless, pumping money into the machine.They win a hundred bucks and don’t even crack a smile. If they’re there to create money, then they’re in the wrong place. SO… When I left, I counted upward my quarters, and I actually had $12.75… YES!!!!!! A WINNER!!!!!! That’s $2.75 more than I started with! Maybe I can get that pack of gum I’ve always wanted… No hold back… I think I’ll hang on to all those quarters… The next time I go to the laundromat, it won’t cost me a penny.

Once again, this is about 10 different exposures which I merged in Photoshop. This is not my HDR technique that I use, this is in addition to that, to increase the number of streaks in the road from the cars. I’ll explain how I do it the next time I post one. For now, I’m tired of typing.
